Their eyes are approximately the size of a golf ball, and are positioned on the sides of their heads to give them a 360-degree view of their surroundings, allowing them to detect predators and other potential threats. Additionally, horses have a unique ability to move each eye independently, which enables them to focus on two different objects at once, a trait that is particularly useful for grazing and scanning their environment for danger.
